Wow! Love this tea. If you’ve ever had Alishan milk oolong, this tea is very similar. With a thick milky mouthfeel, pleasant and mild sweetness, and well as defined creamy notes. But! In addition to that there’s a wonderful floral/orchid flower flavor that I think is a wonderful complimentary partner to the milkiness.
Having only drank the 2024, the flavors between years are obviously varied, but I have to rate this tea highly for having a flavor I’ve never experienced before. Very high on the palate with a sweet aroma, it’s very unlike other white teas I’ve had, different from all fresh greens either Chinese of Japanese style. It’s so fresh, but not grassy or even vegetal. It’s almost flavored like a spring breeze. You gotta try it. My review doesn’t do it justice.
Absolutely a fantastic set of teas. The flavors are rich and distinctive. I feel like this box allows you to really get a deeper understanding of tea and brewing it very quickly. It also arrived quickly and the sellers were very kind in answering my questions. Definitely a good gift for tea lovers, and flavor adventurers alike.
