We are Alaric and Katniss, we come from a long line of tea artisans in Wuyi Mountain, where our family has been crafting tea for generations.

As fourth-generation tea makers from the Xiao Family, we grew up surrounded by the sights, scents, and traditions of handcrafted tea.

Our passion for this heritage, combined with a desire to share it with the world, led us to create Rooteas—it honors our roots while introducing authentic Gongfu tea to a global audience.

With every carefully crafted batch, we carry forward the legacy of their ancestors, ensuring that the essence of our homeland lives on in every sip.
